ParkSlide is a video conferencing system, owned and built by some of the coolest guys around. Originally designed around social networking, ParkSlide has since headed in an enterprise (money-making) direction. Thanks to overly complicated systems and software, video conferencing has never quite lived up to the hype. With ParkSlide, we’re going to change that.

A concept that’s sure to please the television networks, myTVR allows you to record television to a remote storage system, which you can then watch anywhere you can access the internet. One of my favourite projects to work on, I was responsible for handling all of the design work, including branding, print, web and mobile interface design.

Asteroid Rage is an awesome arcade style shooting game for iPhone and iPod Touch. I did all the artwork and sound editing for the game, including logos, icons, backgrounds, objects, sprites and interfaces, as well as layering the music and picking sound effects. I also created the accompanying website and epic promotional trailer, which has explosions. My aim was to capture the feel of old 2D shooting games, while bringing the graphics more in line with modern technology.

Freshtel was my first job out of university, and a great place to work. I spent 4 years at Freshtel as the in house designer, working across various media. My role included the design of websites, PC and mobile applications, product packaging and internal administration systems. And possibly the odd prank.

While at Freshtel I got the opportunity to work with Tesco, who are pretty massive. I was initially responsible for integrating designs into our web and administration systems, working on presentations and some other internal bits and pieces. Later on I got to design interfaces for mobile devices and PC software.

MyRecruit Online is an advanced software service, created by DC123. The service is tailored to the recruitment industry, who have previously suffered with shoddy overpriced software. I was contracted to change that, responsible for designing the interface, as well as putting together the front end.

Jaynelle Lording is a kick-ass make-up artist from Melbourne, Australia. She wanted slick website showcase her work, with a brochure style, side-scrolling photo gallery. The emphasis being on her work, punctuated with great photography. One of my goals was to take the unorthodox approach to the layout and make it easy to use across different browsers.

A sweet little Flash game designed to promote MamaDuke student café, Mama Nukem was a really fun project to work on. The client wanted a shooting game geared towards university students, who could compete for vouchers and prizes. My role was to build the game, and work out how to make birds fly and explode.

Brad Filliponi is a real estate photographer and all-round cool guy, traipsing around the Sunshine Coast of Queensland, Australia. I was given the task of redesigning his existing website. The aim of the redesign was to improve the user experience, offer larger photos and optimise existing content. An ultra-clean and minimal approach was chosen to put the focus where it belongs, on the stellar photography.
